My name is Pekka Klärck (born Laukkanen) and I am a tester-developer and software contractor from Finland. I work for Eliga Oy [1], which is a one-man company concentrating on test automation and Agile testing. My other areas of interest and expertise include Agile practices in general, dynamic programming languages (particularly Python), and open source software development.
I learned about Agile in 2002 when I was still at University. Unfortunately my projects that time were waterfall (or chaos to be more exact), but since then I’ve been happy to work mainly in Agile environments using Scrum and following the XP practices. I got my ScrumMaster certification in 2006.
I am the lead developer of Robot Framework [2], a highly flexible keyword-driven test automation framework. This easy-to-use open source framework can be used for traditional functional testing, but it also supports acceptance test-driven development (ATTD) exceptionally well.
