Short Bio

I graduated from Central Washington University with a B.S. in Computer Science and from Seattle Pacific University with an M.S. in Information Systems Management. I’ve been working in software development for 8 years, mostly involved in testing/automation aspects. I’ve worked as a tester, test lead, QA manager, and currently as a software developer promoting agile software development and testing practices.

I was introduced to Agile testing a year ago and it has transformed my approach to thinking about software testing and infused me with a renewed passion for software development. Integrating practical agile testing and development methods from experts like Lisa Crisipin, Janet Gregory, Elisabeth Hendrickson, Martin Fowler and Gerard Meszaros into my daily professional life has been an awesome and exciting experience.

I’ve been giving brown bag presentations over the last 6 months on my experiences implementing Agile testing and Continuous Integration to support it. I look forward to the opportunity to learn and present more on these and other agile topics.
